Garry Sobers enjoyed a hugely successful seven-date theatre tour around the South of England which gave cricket fans an exclusive opportunity to meet the great all-rounder. Recounting classic stories from his long and accomplished career, Garry entertained the crowds with his trademark wit and charisma.
The Tour took Garry to East Leigh, New Brighton, Christchurch, Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne, Camberley and Stevenage. He entertained fans with stories including his ground-breaking six sixes in one over at Trent Bridge in 1968 and his 1958 record breaking Test score of 365 not out.
Though he lives in his native Barbados, Garry considers the UK his home from home and always enjoys his time in the country. Garry remains hugely respected in the cricketing world and is still widely regarded as the greatest all-round player of all-time.
After the success of this Tour, look out for further appearances which will be announced here. To book Garry as an after dinner speaker, please visit the Champions Speakers website.
