Garry plays at Tony Jacklin Wentworth Invitational
Garry played in the inaugural Tony Jacklin CBE Wentworth Charity Invitational, which was a first-class golfing extravaganza hosted by one of the sport’s pioneering figures. The two-time Major winner welcomed a host of golfing legends and famous faces to Wentworth, one of the world’s most exclusive courses.
Some of the professionals that Garry competed alongside included: once Masters Champion, Ian Woosnam OBE; former Ryder Cup Vice-Captain, Peter Baker; European Senior Tour star, Gary Wolstenholme MBE; and European Tour veteran, Paul Broadhurst. The all-star cast of celebrities playing include: five-time Olympic Gold medallist, Sir Steve Redgrave; F1 Champion, Damon Hill OBE; actor Jimmy Nesbitt; and Ashes-winning cricketer, Matthew Hoggard MBE.
The Tony Jacklin CBE Wentworth Charity Invitational was a particularly special event, as competitors had full use of the famous West Course and competitors played a four-ball with a leading celebrity or top professional.
